Spring fever is hitting me hard and I am so excited to play outdoors in some fresh seasonal attire.
We're talkin' serious 70s feels with bell sleeves and cold shoulder tops and boho vibes in relaxed fitted rompers and fun printed fabrics. I am trying to pace my online shopping but am finding myself blowing out my shopping budget less than a week after pay day and then living like a criminal with byo lunches for the weeks leading upto the next pay day - sigh. Below I'm rocking my oneteaspoon short shorts with a textured blouse from Asos. Am on a mission to get that mid section as toned as possible so I can live in crop tops and mid driffs all summer (it's always the plan, whether it manages to manifest for longer than 1-2 weeks before I give in to festive season booze and second helpings is another matter).
The festival hype saw hectic layering and heavy duty necklaces, temporary tattoos and piercing mania. I have to say on many levels it reminds me of growing up watching my mum in her indian trends - chunky necklaces, jewelled nose rings and henna adorned palms. I feel like we'll be going back in time and around a few corners of the world in the seasons to come - american indian and cowboy fringe details, eastern indian heavy jewellery, 70s flares and rock chick details. It's the season of everything people! I'm still all about keeping things fairly simple but will switch it up in good balance over the weeks to come. Stay tuned hunnies...
