Engagement party wear 

First - something contemporary - I usually steer clear from coloured lace but the high neck and deep hue of this crop kept the look feminine and subtle.

Second -  something sophisticated - if you're like me and you love tailored and edgy, be sure to balance a more daring silhouette with a fabric and colour that's understated. The cameo fallen skirt is so flattering on the waistline and the pleats are super cute and really pull the look together. 

Last - striking makeup - I don't really steer very far from my "everyday" makeup look.  Bold eyebrows are a must, a smokey eye and some clever contouring always do well for an evening look and the cheeks were a little more flushed than how they photographed.
